Help Converting a Car

Featured Replies

I want to start moddling and i want to make a Police Truck (2014 FORD F350 Crew CAB) and it is in google

sketchup and i want to convert it to GTA 4. How do i do that.

HEAR IS THE TRUCK

1. That looks NOTHING like a 2014 Ford F-350.

2. Before anyone can help you, you need to export it as a .obj and put it in Zmodeler.

Not necessarily. As long as there is some sort of hierarchy that is importable into Zmod, you can attach things to fit the proper dummies.

Most Sketchup cars are really poor quality, modders tend to stay away from them. And since you are new to conversions, I would recommend learning some stuff in ZModeler before you do some thing big as conversions. It's a real pain in the ass to learn conversions when there are no decent tutorials out there :/

Good luck, I guess :)

I don't understand. You're saying that you don't have to convert things in Zmodeler?

I'm saying when you have the model in SketchUp, that you have to export it as a .obj because you can't export it in any other form that Zmod can read.

It can either be imported a .obj or .3ds
