Tips Or Tricks on How to make GTA Run Better?

Featured Replies

To be completely honest, My computer was not built to have games ran on it but I like to anyways.

My favorite game is GTA 4 with LCPDFR and I just can't play it like I want to. The thing is, The frame rate is most likely less than 10FPS when I'm playing. I was wondering if there is any way that I can make this run smoother or better in general. Everything is at low, and there is still lag. It's horrible. Any tips and Tricks. Please. Thank You (:

Put the graphics settings on the lowest resolution. It makes your textures look granier, but it gave me 15 extra fps, so now I have about 25-30 fps.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

Set the priority to high in task manager - that could help out, also.

Not sure if it's changed but I tried doing that with GTA IV quite while ago as I also wanted to mess with affinity setting.

At the time though for some reason it wouldn't let me on this particular game.
