Exceptions during the vehicle spawn selection are absolutely nothing to do with LCPDFR. If there is an exception during the selection, this simply means that the script couldn't load the vehicle, which is usually a result of the game trying to load horribly unoptimized or really large car mods/corrupt vehicles.

You can use the preload models setting in the .ini file to fix this somewhat.

Well the obvious one is hard braking before a corner then execute a corner using no braking at all. Most people take corners at 60 mph then wonder why they are wrapped around a telegraph pole. Or another method is hard braking to reduce speed somewhat then a tap of the handbrake to powerslide a corner (very hard in some cars)

With rear wheel drive cars don't hammer the accelerator after a corner until you are once again in a reasonably straight line. This will cause a spin. Front wheel drive can have the opposite effect of helping you to pull out of a corner with power.

Fast tapping of left or right when cornering instead of holding the key down can give more control in corners. This can also be used when changing lanes or getting through traffic at high speeds as it gives more control.

Most important though is just practice practice and practice.

and finally there is always a handling mod, as the handling in GTA IV is not all that realistic.

EDIT: I made those comments before actually watching you drive. I think you may be beyond hope lol.

I think you killed or seriously injured at least 3 people in the first couple of minutes of driving. I was p!$$ing myself but prob' not for the reasons you wanted :)

Sorry, just teasing. Only thing thats gonna make you improve Is practice like i said. Seriously though joking aside I think you might benefit from a handling mod. Some of the cars seem to have very soft bouncy suspension and seem to spin a lot.

You also seem to oversteer a lot. Drive about ptetending you have a trailer hitched to the car and are towing a 20 ft trailer and you need to get that around corners too :) reason is you seem to turn way too early when aproaching some corners. Especially at the begining. Anyway entertaining vids ;) +1

A few things:

1) I didn't realize people had responded to this, so I apologize for not replying.

2) Your 'EDIT' literally made me laugh so hard!! I just plain SUCK!! hahaha, and trust me, it hasn't gotten any better! I've tried using an XBOX controller (as many suggested) but just found out that it doesn't work with RC-2?? hmm..

and I was unaware of a handling mod, I'll have to check it out! But either way, thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!
