My Liberty City PD Skin pack

Featured Replies

I started these today after seeing a photos of a Graphics company with the same design.
Feel free to share your opinions on them please, should I release a skin pack?
Should I make additions to textures themselves?
I want to make these as great as possible so all thoughts will be considered!

There are a few other designs I may or may not do after these.

Edit - July 5th: Edited the CVPI skin so the part where the reverse lights are is black like on real Crown Vic's.
Edited the Charger skin so the "liberty police" on the back isn't covered up by the Dodge Logo.
Edited the Tahoe skin so it didn't have the massive K-9 on the door or back and replaced it with "Beware Police Dog
Every skin now has a new motto on it to add extra realism

Added new photos to show progress.

not a fan of the giant DARE on the back but I like

I might do up an actual DARE version of the skin and a normal patrol vehicle version.

I think they look interesting with the SPVM-styled CVPI and Impala. Also make sure to edit the back of the Charger as the "Liberty Police" text is interferening with the Dodge sign on the trunk.

Thanks, also I edited that this morning and updated the log and photos. It shows the updated view in the third last photo.

One minor gripe, is that I dont think the "ALPR Fitted" Text is really necessary. A lot of cars with ALPR's fitted don't really require that type of writing on them, usually because they are quite obviously displayed, and most "normal" citizens dont know what ALPR stands for. Other than that, these look great!

Thanks for the input! The only reason I had it on there was because the model itself doesn't actually have ALPR's fitted on the outside, and really only for a bit of realism

Update from Saturday afternoon/night - Completed the skins to my liking. Created an FIB Police skin for the Marauder, CVPI and Impala both now have a Supervisor skin. Dodge Charger has two skins to choose from, a DARE unit and a normal patrol unit. I was thinking of doing a traffic unit but maybe on the next set of skins I might. Uploaded new photos in the first post and deleted old ones.

EDIT - Skin pack has been released - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
