Hey guys, I am learning to modify/add parts to models using zmodeller.

So I downloaded the FORD CROWN VICTORIA CVPI-V4.2X Unlocked from GPM and added the go rhino pushbar and the Federal Signal Streethawk Lightbar(ELS-H).

I had trouble mapping the ELS, but am so very grateful to Cj24 for guiding me.

But after finishing the mapping, the headlights of the car dont seem to flash in with the ELS, and even though I got good instructions once again from Cj24, I cant seem to get it work. The video below explains my problem.

Please help me anyone by providing me with instructions in detail as I cannot find the ELS mapping tutorial in GPM due their maintenance...

I guess i shoulda specified what i meant earlier, i installed all the parts on the vic i wanted like the rambar and lightbar, how did you get your's ingame? mine just crashes after the first time, now i can't even import another one with sparkiv

I am a noob to at this bro..!!!

First add all the vehicle's textures, lightbar textures and the default Vehshare textures using material editior in Zmodeler.

You have to link the added parts to the main chassis bro and it should be in some hierarchical order(atleast I think so may be I am wrong too ) ..!!!

misc_lb is my lightbar and the pushbar is the go rhino rambar.

Almost fixed my problem..!!!

OMG thank's sooooo much, i will try this when i get home from work!!!! :D

Atlast got the headlights to work. Cj24 had already sent me the instructions but it took me a while to realise that they were actually the original steps...!!!!

Then came help from dhruv for that video..!! Thanks a lot guys..!!!

Indeed, great to see members who get better and more skilled each day.

Maybe it's the helpfull atmosphere, but this site seems to produce more people than anywhere else who start of with no skills at all and end up teaching themselves all sorts of stuff related to modding.

Keep it up aparna and gl with the tail lights.

I've been pondering about sorting myself out with a car or two myself, I might give it a shot now.

Need to make the taillights brighter but I have no idea and if I do anything wrong the car starts to shake damn vigorously...!!!

If any one knows how to add components(like laptop etc) please help me because when I add a laptop I get the RC20 error.

As to car shaking... I downloaded a model once and the car would shake when it came to a standstill. I thought it was a handling / susspension error but no matter what I changed it had no effect, so in the end I came to realise it was an error with the model so I know what you mean by the model freaking out if everything is not quite right.

Seriously thinking about looking into Zmodeller now lol. Your fault !

I have no idea about adding laptops etc without getting errors but Keep at it, with a bit of advice from the right people you will work it out I'm sure :)

Try moving the flashing taillight parts to a position before the actual taillights, as they're transparent it wont be pretty bright when it's behind them.

Do you mean in the hierarchy bro..???

I added them to the lightbar's extra5 and extra 6 and the lightbar is above the original taillights..!!!

Nope, not in the hirachy, in the actual model. Simply use modify > move and move them to a position were they aren't covered by the normal taillights.
