Police Vest

The texture you have linked above goes to this ped model. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

That's the thing. When I put that ped model in, and imported the textures, my SparkIV crashed. It only does it for that particular vest officer model. If I put in any other officer modification in, I can replace the textures perfectly fine. But then I get mixed textures. This is very confusing, more confusing then it should be.

I know what you mean, it used to do it for me until I stopped using it all together. To my knowledge there is no way to fix it unfortunately.

Maybe Try OpenIV?

Not really, I guess you can try it and see if it works.

Of everything I've ever done on a PC, using OpenIV has been the most confusing for me. Not sure why, but it just is. The tutorial videos aren't all that clear either, so I'm stuck using SparkIV. Which has a set of issues by itself, such as textures not saving when changed, even when I hit save.

It's much more stable than SparkIV and since I messed something up, I can't use SparkIV, I have to use OpenIV and it has so much more features than SparkIV. SparkIV is for replacing, in OpenIV, you can add things and get even more :P

I learned to use it without tutorials, play around a bit with it and you may get the hang of it, good luck!

Yeah, I'll have to mess around with it lol. Hopefully I can figure out how to add skins, import models, etc. Thanks for the response.

Press "Edit Mode" and right click on the file and click "Replace" Note: Once you turn on edit mode, you can't undo. And to replace/add textures, just click on the .WTD and the rest is easy :)

OMG FINALLY. Thanks so much for the assistance. I've finally gotten the uniform textures into the game without some sort of crash or error. Thanks again, I really appreciate it :D.

No problem, glad I could be of assistance :) For sirens, I would recommend you use SparkIV, if you want to use OpenIV, remove ".IVAUD" from the file name and then import it into OpenIV, it won't work for some reason with .IVAUD files :/
