Small List of "Major" Problems with 0.95rc1

Featured Replies

Sidenote: ELS v6 seems to be the main culprit for crashes, and Lt.Caine is impossible to get hold of, so I would suggest ELSv5 as it's much more stable, and you don't lose many features.

1. When I respond to any shooting calls, the second I get there all I find are weapons on the ground and it says the call is complete.

2. My character becomes completely invisible after handcuffing suspects on occaision.

3. Once you pat down a suspect they walk off and you're unable to arrest them.

4. After a while (around 15 minutes) of playtime I stop recieving callouts, even if I have them enabled. Toggling doesn't solve it, neither does re-loading my GTA:IV save.

5. If you call a transport, they abandon their vehicle and walk the suspect to the nearest police station.

Other than those, excellent mod!

*edit: It also doesn't seem to be compatible with my ASI loader as it doesn't detect it, but the mod runs fine apart from the above. Can someone point me in the direction of a compatible one?

If you have both xliveless and dsound installed, then the G17Diagnostics will not detect them both and show the result as no asi loaders installed.

And about ELSv6, I think there was a update this october which fixed most of the stability issues and bugs and I am personally using it.

And about the shootout call, it happened for me too that if you are driving to the location for very long(like Island Shootout from first Island) by the time you get there, the SWAT peds would have mostly killed every attacking ped with the last one or two standing as you reach there, so just try to go the location a bit faster...

And try forcing a callout by pressing alt+F11.

I have no idea about the character becoming invisible, and that is a question for the devs...

1: If the guns are on the ground etc then it's all kicked off before you got there. Happens to me if I take too long to get to the location.. (don't respond to charge Island shootout if your in Hove beach for example)

2: Known issue, normally happens when character is close to a building but not always. (Can use SNT to spawn a new cop charater)

3: Sometimes get this when I can't arrest with batton after a frisk but a gun arrest normally works fine. (there are also issues with game controllers) (I use mouse)

4: Known issue, as mentioned in previous post F11 forces a callout, and sometimes kickstarts the callouts again.

5: Not had this happen to me.

ELS 6 works fine for me after it was updated as mentioned in previous post.

ASI loader that comes with LCPDFR works fine. Must be another issue.
