I was looking to know how it is possible to use the horn without overriding the siren as shown in this video. I think that it is mentioned that it is a mod that makes it possible or is it an ELS setting? If it is a mod, is the mod released?

Hello gagrenn, I only play as medic and I like it a lot! It would be awesome if AED is actually functioning. And I think instruction part of AED audio is quite too long. Any plan to add more medic features in 0.9? :)

Hello, i just installed the mod like it is shown in the tutorial video, but when i get ingame and press f, m or c, nothing happens, can anyone help me with this problem please?

hey, ive read through the instructions multiple times and the mod just isnt working! I have all the files necessary and i really want to give this mod a try (it seems awesome). But whenever i load in and press F i get the fire.ini crash. i know that those special 3 files need to be in my GTA IV folder and they are, i also have the fire mod files in the scripts. its simply not starting up. is there any way to fix this?

Glad you like it, the AED have been reduced to be as fast as possible, but I can't make it less long ! For the moment I'm focused at making the gta 5 version of the mod, so there won't be any update for the moment.

Do you have a log ? Do you have other mods and do they work ? did you updated your gta (you need the latest version)

I only use the regular LCPDFR and thats it. it works fine. i have an updated gta and im not sure where to find the log.

I can treat the patient on the ground then load them into the ambulance, but when I press F4 to treat them in the ambulance, I get stuck (frozen in place). Even if I release the patient or ask to take them to hospital, the Patient Treatment window disappears, but I remain frozen in place.

Any ideas on how to fix that, or is there a way to take them right to hospital without using the F4 key first?

The patient treatment inside the ambulance feature was introduced to save you the trip to the hospital. So you can skip it and go straight to the hospital by updating your status (the CTRL key), although I never experienced any issue using this feature ! are you using the recommended ambulance ? Try to go close to the rear doors, press F4 ONCE and wait for the script to do the work, it should work fine !

Hey Gangrenn, I'm having another problem with the mod. When I get close to a patient and press the  button to Heal them, nothing happens. This happens as soon as I start the game and go on shift. Is there any way to diagnose why nothing is happening???

EDIT - I've looked into it a little more. I can press the "Heal" button only once. If I'm near the victim, then I can treat them but then cannot take any more medical calls. If I press it and I'm not near the victim (and get the little message), then if I move closer to the victim, nothing happens. Sometimes, it tries to Heal when I press ALT+J (my combination for changing siren tones), which means I often use my one key press accidentally, trying to get to the scene (FYI My Heal key is set to H)
