Why does my gta iv crash when i enter a truck, (engine or ladder)

try taking the ALPR script out. they maybe conflicting

i'd like to see the rescue truck responding to calls in the southern part of the island. seeing there's only one rescue, and the ladder responding all over the place. we should get calls all over the place. 

 

my only issue is ems calls, the stretcher appears but the patient will not get on it, nor can i load the patient into the ambulance. i avoid ems calls at all costs lol.

 

i love this mod, very fun to use !!

 

To put the patient into the stretcher, you have to press the Middle mouse button, now according to one of your previous post, you are using a laptop, and therefore do not have the middle mouse button. However, the next version, will allow you to change the key assigned to this feature in the .ini file.

 

I've never had the mod work for me, upon starting the game while in my safe house I press one of the keys to launch and just get that error message. I've tried changing keys, stepping outside the house, launching in multiplayer. None of which have worked.

 

 

I get this problem, when I get Into game let everything load, as the scripts start to run It then say's that error Fire.Script so then I checked to see what that actually was. Now before hand I switched the car's like fbi and nstockade, maybe that caused It? I haven't tried since yesterday spent most the day screaming at the computer :p But Yea I haven't even got to push F which I changed to F12 to be safe.

I talked with some advanced scripters, and we all came up with the same conclusion: you are experiencing these crashes because you're not using the latest version of one of the followings:

-game version (1.0.7.0 or 1.2.1.0 for EFLC);

-scripthookdotnet;

-Advancedhook;

Okay, Uhh Well I have the first thing on that list I know for sure.

 

But wouldn't the other two be easy to get? Like don't you get that from LCPDFR and ELS? Or Is there a place I can download those two, 

When I start up the game. I press "F" To load the mod and nothing happen's I have tried to re install the game, I have put the Scripts in the correct place any help please.

Fixed - Not sure why I had outdated versions of those files, might be helpful to include the most up-to-date versions in the mod download. I couldn't find the advancedhook download anywhere and eventually had to use the version in LCPDFR 1.0c Manual Install.

The FireFighter mod do not need any other mod to work.

 

For everyone experiencing crashes: make sure to download the latest versions of the following 2 files:

Oh Boy  it appears that you need lcpdfr at least for advancehook. The mod said you needed latest scripthook but not advancehook. I just looked at my directory and didnt even have advancehook !!!! After reading Gangrenns last post he mentioned advancehook . This was very confusing as I had this in a secondary directory without lcpdfr to lighten the resource load as well as key mapping. 

Am I the only one having the no random callouts problem? I have it set to 400 and sat for a good ten minutes with no callout. I dont really want to force it, kinda destroys immersion. 

Issue 1 - When I place a person in the ambulance from the stretcher he spawns above the ambulance in the air and when I drive off he stay's there. (I have the pack Double Doppler using)

Issue 2 - When I go to the ambulance and Press "T" to get equipment it gets out a stretcher.

I have 2 little quirks, 

1- i cannot place stretcher back into the ambulance after leaving the hospital.  Its stuck to my character

 

2 - as battalion chief - all i get is medical runs. have yet to receive a fire alarm

For me everything works fine.  But I love to see multiplayer optimalisation with this I mean that other players around can treat and take your victim.

Right now I've noticed that you can only treat the victim that spawned in by the script so it is not possible to treat an other injured ped that's not spawned by the script

If this can be done I'm way happier with this script..

 

So everything on a list

- Ability to treat random peds that are NOT spawned by the script

- The ability to treat the victim of an other online player

- More fire-related calls / Rescue calls 

 

Call ideas

Height rescues, Got more calls with persons stuck in buildings

Water accident,  Some accidents like a car drove into the water and you got to get it out?

Bigger MVA's, MVA on a highway, 8 cars involved?

 

 

Suicidal Subject (fire and ems part not police.) If they jump you have to setup a rescue plan. Maybe it can be located on a bridge.

Everything works fine when I'm using the ambulance from the manual, but then I tried with a couple of other ambulances and when I press O to put the victim inside, he just stays in the air next to the ambulance while the stretcher goes inside. Is there a way to make it work?

I'm having an issue with the EMS side of gameplay.  I can run an engine, BC or ladder but when I choose to do EMS instead I immediately crash.  I press enter on the hospital I select and then CTD or get a fatal error.  Anyone have the same issue or better yet a fix?  Thanks
