What is patientOUTOFambo in fire.ini

Hello !

I have the same problem. I'm invisible when I choose a Fire station and if I'm moving myself, the game crashs.

Really hope you've got a solution :(

when i press left click

the stretcher appear and i can't do anything even move

Make sure you have BOTH fire.net.dll and fire.ini are in your SCRIPTS folder

Press f7 to make sure your free for calls

Make sure you have the latest version version of the mod

 

yeah there both in the scripts folder

thanks to everyone who uploaded a video on youtube (i've been watching each one of them: https://www.youtube.com/results?filters=week&lclk=week&search_query=firefighter+mod+gta+iv ), I've been making a list of things that needs to be fixed / improved, based on these videos !

• The first thing I noticed, is that some people didn't read the user manual nor watched the video tutorial, and are having trouble to do things correctly (I can understand that, as the mod is complex and was just released a few days ago), So I decided to guide the player, by displaying in-game messages when needed, at the moment I added in-game messages only for the most used / important features, I will add more in-game messages later !
• I had to find a solution, for both: players who experience issues when selecting the company (mainly caused by a low pc specs), and players who got everything working, but wants to change the station when playing. This solution is the safe mode procedure, which will allow the players experiencing issues to start the mod via a different way, and players who got everything to work: to change whether the station they are assigned to, or their company ! (use "-" (subtract) to select / change the station, and "+" (add) to change the company you're playing with !
• Some of you had a hard time to get / remove the stretcher, I also fixed this: FROM NOW ON: use "O" to get / remove the stretcher, and to get the victim on it: it's automatic (but use T to detach the stretcher)

i love this mod !!!  - 2 questions - what do i do if i dont get callouts ? itll take a long time for something to happen.  F8 doesnt seem to do anything.  Also what button consists of "middle mouse" i have a laptop with no mouse

I got the same problem, invisible character, no call-outs.....

 

Get the latest update, it fixes the invisible character (this happens, because you do not have a good computer, therefore your game can't spawn the requested vehicles, and it freezes your game): Make sure to use the safe mode from now !

Is it possible to change a numpad option in the script to a a simple key. I don't have numpad on my laptop

Hi, 

I just tried the mod. It´s great ! I haven´t experienced single crash, so stability is great for me ... But I got some problems ...

 

I always receive only one callout - Medical run ... I play as a firefighter, and it´s all about medical runs, nothing else ...

 

Plus I have a problem with stretcher - I call EMS, they´re treating the guy, I´m going for a stretcher to theirs ambulance, press T, I got a stretcher, than I press middle mouse button to put the guy on the stretcher, but when I go to the ambulance there´s no way how to put the guy in the ambulance ... I press T, nothing happens ... and I cannot even leave the stretcher anymore, it´s still with me :/ 

 

and when I tried to use vdhpolicehelper´s EMS instead of one´s that mod includes it wrote No need to send EMS eventhough the guy was still lying on the ground :/

 

Any advise would be helpful, thanks in advance and have a nice day :)

Thank you gangrenn, this hotfix perfectly solved the stretcher and callout problem for me ! Finally I can make a video :)

I found a bugg.

When you are like in a call or whatever and like me don't remember which key does what and alt+Tab then go back ingame and get out of your pause menu, it gives me a black screen, i can see the hud, move and do stuff but just a black screen, like the world has gone black and there is no sun.

After installing the mod...i go in game and press F and the mod does not activate....i also have the trainer installed but that wont activate??? i had to do a fresh install of game due to having other mods etc....and now nothing will work in game[mod side]

Help with installing this mod please? and maybe suggestions/advise on what i did wrong

I still have the same issue.

also the vehicles suggested to be put in from the pdf i did and they did not change in game....i feel like im having a dumb moment and most likely am i just cant think of what i did wrong here,sorry for cluttering up this thread but i didn't know if maybe the mod is interfering or something

Installed the newest patch and now when I try to drop the equiptment it crashes to desktop with smnpa60. The other script did not do this at all. I remapped the keys just incase it was tied to another key and it still crashed. Occurs the second I hit x and then did it when I remapped to K . It has to be related to new patch because old patch this did not happen.  SMPA60 is usually related to a mod issue but im using the vanilla firetruck and I did try another firetruck . 

same problem with bcc4123 ( SMNPA60 CRASH) - i crash all the time selecting the south station., at a medical call. the paramedics arrive and i cant seem to get the patient status box to disappear or my firefighter wont move ...........

Okay, the firefighter works absolutely fine for me now, but I got some problem with paramedic, everything is smooth but when I get the patient to the ambulance and when I ride him to the hospital there´s no checkpoint so I can take him inside ... there isn ´t even the navigation like in tutorial video ... I can just see hospital icons all over the map, but when I get there ... no checkpoint :/ and when I got the patient to the ambulance I tried to press numpad0 to update my status, but nothing happens ... numpad0 works fine when I´m transmiting victims status while treating him, but as soon as I get the patient to the ambulance it´s not working anymore :/

Transmitting status is i think f3 tell me if it's not lol, no by numpad0 is i think only for treathing the victim.

I just checked the manual and it really is numpad0 ... I´m not sure if you actually have to call the dispatch before driving to the hospital, but no checkpoint is there like I said ...

read the user manual, or watch the video tutorial, or better: read the in-game message saying "update your status to dispatch" when you put the victim on the ambulance ...  anyway, just press CONTROL and you will hear "medic 70, patient is ready for transport, etc.".

Now according to the video you uploaded you're using the wrong key to end a call: F6 is to cancel a call, CONTROL is to END a call.

Based on the company you choose does that determine the type of calls you get? and would it be possible to make it to where you can be assigned in broker dukes since it has the open fire station?

i was playing as a f.f. - ems call came out, i responded along with ambulance. it said for me to get the strecher, i pressed " o " at rear of ambulance. doors opened but no stretcher ....using the latest hotfix
