I'm running GTA IV on the 1.0.4.0 patch and want to play FR 0.95. The game loads and operates fine until I walk into the portal to start FR then it crashes and says something similar to windows is forced to close. Any Ideas on what may be causing it or how to fix it? Thanks

-I am also running ELS v6 which still operates fine and hasn't given me any problems.

0.95 is supposed to be ran in 1.0.7.0 .

Dang...Does any version of FR work with the 1.0.4.0 patch?

0.91 should work.

Cool, do I need to uninstall or manually pick files and folders to delete out of the directory before I install FR 0.91? Or will installing 0.91 automatically replace all files from 0.95 that's already there?

I'd suggesting uninstalling first. Just incase.

hello guys, just a question, sorry for my small english ;-)

i just saw this mod on youtube and downloaded it from here.

i own gta iv from steam, think its that 1.7 or 1.0.7 version? steam auto updates are enabled, if there is a patch or update steam does it on its own.

when i now start gta after the mod steam is ok, social club verification is ok, but there is no windows live anymore, result: no more saves and reloads of games any more, has anybody a hint for me how to play with this mod but getting games for windows live startet?

i did NOT choose xliveless in the lcpdfr.exe

0.91 did not work, gta iv exe wotks no more after the intro, 0.95 unstable works for me, but without live and savegames as mentioned :-(((

It indeed is 1.0.7.0 then if you havent downgraded it. Go to your steam folder ( C:Program FilesSteam is default ) > steamappscommongrand theft auto ivGTAIV and see if there is xlive.dll in there. Delete it if it is there.

but with xlive deleted there is also no more chance to save that game???

ok, i deleted it and now it works fine, savegames are back there and so on,
