since where I live and NYC are two completely different parts of the state, we use common radio chatter, NYPD and FDNY use 10 codes.  so i thought id post the 10 codes for NYC if you wanted to make your game a tiny bit more realistic.

ALSO, This is how priority works throughout NYS, Priority 1= lights and siren, 2= Lights, 3= no lights unless requested, 4=stubbed toe(If you work in the field you know(; ) there is no code 3 code 2 or code 1.
I am just trying to be helpful hope this sparked something for at least one person.

I'm sure there are errors. Ex. "10-4" doesn't mean "call by phone".

 

10-4 is affirmative, whereas 10-3 is call dispatcher by phone. The formatting in the OP is less-than-stellar. See the links I posted a few posts up for the proper formatting.

Oh man, this is so confusing. I hate how every single state (And department) has to have their own 10-codes and what not. I just finished learning Cali's & Florida's "state wide" 10-codes and I ain't learning any more of them :P

It's not the best format to be reading in and has its flaws here and there, but none the less, good job bud. Keep it up :D

the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it  :tongue:
