Featured Replies

I have used SparkIV and such, for modifying LCPDFR for a long time now, and i was wondering what files i could put on my USB port so i wouldnt have to re-do it all, if possible.

You are better off backing up the links of mods and re-downloading them, rather than actually saving them. If this isn't an option for you, you can save these files on a USB stick, or Dropbox (or similar). It's also recommended to re-downloaded any software you used (you cannot copy the actualy program, as it won't work on the target computer).

If you do not want to re-mod your GTA IV, you will have to copy the files you have modifed. Do keep in mind that these files are generally extremely large and not suited for placement on a USB memory.

Licenses and such: You'll have to deactivate GTA IV to be sure you can use your key again. Hope this helped.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

I did that the other day, just took the mods I had already installed & put them on a flash drive, just downloaded everything else, Bandicam, Paint.NET etc lost ALL of my textures in the process & a few custom cars, best of luck!

Well, if you took apart the computers and took the HDD or SSD from the old computer and put it in the new one, you would have all your files.

I'm not sure that this would work. Twice now I have made the mistake of getting a new motherboard and CPU combo and windows gave me the BSOD both times. It was because I get new parts. But hey, worth a shot!

If it didn't work I am sure he could just use the USB.
