Well, i have recently removed my modded GTA IV and replaced it with my backup files, but now it crashes at start. Here is the answer  from windows,

Why can't i use backups?

You messed up the backups somewhere. Make sure you haven't copied the old GTA IV files (unpatched ones). 

shit. I *might* have done that. I guess i'll have to wait another day then.

LOL! For once you were wrong. I just ran the patch again, and now it's working. No need for re install!

Exactly what files did you replace? All of them?
