If I try to mod the cop models, only the m_y_cop model doesn't work.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
 

Are you using EFLC? If yes are you modding the Ballad Of Gay Tony or The Lost?

Provide some more information, which ped mod are you using? Are you making the model yourself?

I am using EFLC TBOGT

You have to replace the cops in the specific TBOGT folder located here: C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesEFLCTBoGTpcmodelscdimages  otherwise it will not work.

The other models work but the " m_y_cop model " doesn't change at all

I had the same issue as you a while ago. The method you used also worked in my case. If you would like to you can rename the 'm_y_cop' model in TBoGTpcmodelscdimages  and TLADpcmodelscdimages to m_y_cop_epi (for episodes, backup of course). Doing this allows much easier modding as you only need to mod one model file (the main componentpeds.img) which applies to both games.
