I have a question

Featured Replies

Hey guys, not really sure where to put this (sorry I'm new). Anyway I wanted to ask something which might appear very nooby. Is there any way to edit any more settings in LCPFR? What I wanted to do was change it so that once you have arrested a criminal and called for prisoner transport, the car that arrives is different. Or for example, when you press CTRL+N, how would you be able to change the car model that arrives on scene? Anyway thanks in advance.

Yup, you can do that.  There is a LCPDFR folder in your main game folder, the LCPDFR.ini is in that folder and the line in the .ini you are looking for is: SuspectTransporterModels=POLICE;POLICE2;PSTOCKADE;

The folder location should look something like this (I use EFLC, so my folders reflect this):

C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLClcpdfr

You can change the car you want the perp picked up with, just open the lcpdfr.ini to do so.  You can change the weapons in your trunk wth the .ini file, as well as other game configurations.  I have a HK416 in mine.

Also, there is a configuration program included with LCPDFR...I think if you run that you can also select which car picks up the perp.  Either way should work.

Good luck!

Thanks for the response. I have no idea why but the LCPDFR folder isn't actually here in my main directory which is: C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV

I don't know where the configuration program is either. Here's a screenshot of the folders in my directory: http://gyazo.com/864240ab46f6f6f408d68c3de098cfad (Sorry if third-party links aren't allowed)

Hey guys I don't mean to bump this back up but I have a problem. I added POLPATRIOT into the ini:

SuspectTransporterModels=POLICE;POLICE2;PSTOCKADE;POLPATRIOT;

My game now crashes whenever I call for prisoner transport.

Try getting rid of one...like polpat.  Then run the game, see if that fixed it.

Also, when modding the game, install one mod at a time, then play the game for awhile.  This way you know if the mod is compatable.  If you install several mods at once, and your game crashes, you'll never figure out which one(s) is(are) causing issue.

Backup your game too...just in-case.  I have separate backups of my image files too, for when a ped mod or car mod totally messes up my install, I can just replace that .img file.

Good luck!
