If you're having glare problems (, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 bugs but a glare ain't one), I think I can help you.

When you are talking about glare, you mean that the officers clothes are shining like crazy right? If that's your problem, all you have to do is make the specular maps more dark. I personally like to use all black specular map textures for peds, since I don't see why some1's clothes would be reflecting anything.

 

I got rid of glare on all but one head of the peds... I just colored the specs black/darker like Kanyo said and it worked but the head on the sheriff ped that has hair still shines as glossy as a piece of glass reflection.

Hey Sam, I know you've moved on from the female police officers, but what about female detectives? I, and I'm sure many others, think it would be great to have both genders of investigators in the LCPD.

HOWEVER, in V, the N.O.o.S.E. guys "POLICE" patches can sometimes say F.I.B., even though they always announce themselves as N.O.o.S.E. By them announcing themselves as N.O.o.S.E., I mean their voices. There's like 4 of them and none ever mention F.I.B.

Actually there's a event with FIB at the satellites in Sandy Shores (or close by). There's a couple of FIB agents (with suits and sunglasses) standing and listening to some scientists. And close to them is always 2 (two) unmarked FIB vehicles.

I know. That is a scripted event though. They aren't even law enforcement apparently, and act as security guards.

 

The only type that tackles crime as a response to what player has done are the N.O.o.S.E. looking F.I.B. agents iirc.

I don't know.  I've only got the highway patrol ped.  My guess is that some of the textures might be interchangeable between the same gender LSPD and sheriff peds.  

 

The LVPD peds were eating up a lot of time to fix little things on them.  There were a lot of problems when I was using things that had been through multiple different people like the shoulder mics and some stuff on the utility belt as they had quite a bit wrong with them under the surface and it resulted in them being really shiny in game.  It took ages to fix that and then there were other problems too.  Interestingly enough, a lot of the stuff from MaxPayne 3 that I used for them was the same stuff that is used on the GTA V SAHP peds, including the holster and all pouches.

Personally I'm not happy with it because it has no LOD models and the traditional problems edited peds do as it relates to things being jaggy like the head, but in any event, if you really want I can do my best to release it.

Please Do sam they are truly great models like the taser and does it have multiple uppers and heads?

Maybe they are already busy doing other personal things since there is no update the past week. I wish they would come and convert other GTA V ped models, and start posting pictures again.

I certainly would not mind updates on the progress of these mods. From what I have seen in the progress photos they look great.

I've been screwing around with the capture creator and I noticed that there are armoured FIB peds that are not used anywhere else in-game, will you rig those aswell?
