Can't make up my Flipping mined on what to do    Today I have been looking at graphic cards (700 series) and I was thinking that should I get an 770 or 780 card (upgrade my GPU my replacing my 680) or get another same card that I am using now and have it as SLI, this is hard to think    the card I have now is an http://www.asus.com/...GTX680DC2T2GD5/ and I do have the space for two 680 GPU to run as together, and it might be the coolest way to go then getting one 700 series card. 

 

Should I do?

1) Get another 680 run as SLI, even that it still will bet the 780 cards

2) Get an 780 card (prices are very high)

3) just say with the one 680 witch I have now

Well, it depends on your requirements.

If you are currently getting a bit low / unsatisfactory FPS for your games (mainly modded games), & are looking to upgrade, then ok. (Which I don't think is the case since you included option 3, to just stay with current config).

If you don't really need another GPU, but just want to buy one, I would say wait for the future, until your current card starts lagging behind in games.

 

If you still want to go the new GPU route, I would say take the 780 if you can afford it. Personally I haven't used SLI yet, but I have heard about it causing problems in games sometimes.

I have done a check on a Asus 780Ti DCII vs your Asus 680 DCII, the 780 gives you 1GB more Memory (total of 3GB), it has higher memory clock (7,000MHz vs 6,008MHz), but it has lower Engine clock (954MHz vs 1,137MHz. Boosted 1,020MHz vs 1,201MHz).

 

tl;dr - Think it's better you wait until your GPU starts lagging behind in games before buying a new GPU.

Thanks for the helpful information. If I did went with SLI it would be better then a single 780 card and that there are not allot of new Asus 680 DCII left witch cost around $555 and trying to get $200 or less off. As for the 780Ti DCII the price is over the top -_- the cheapest I can find is $899  

Well, if we're talking 780s, I just upgraded to this: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 GHz Edition from my overclocked Asus 660 Ti. 1017 MHz core clock, 1071 MHz boost. I'm pretty sure it's the fastest 780 on the market (don't quote me on that), being only slightly slower than the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Classified K|NGP|N Edition (1072MHz base clock, 1137MHz boost clock). Plus it's $310 cheaper (before the Newegg sale).

 

The only downside is that the 3 fans on it made it a very tight squeeze in my computer. Had to scrape it up a little...no damage though, just a few scratches that I'll never see.

 

Another thing is that EVGA is coming out with a 780 with 6 GB GDDR5, which is what the Titan has. Of course, Nvidia is now developing the Titan Z with 12 GB GDDR5 and 5,760 cuda cores, basically 2 Titans in one.
