How to change started weapons in LCPDFR?

Featured Replies

You can change weapons located in the trunk. Like the above poster has stated; it's located in the lcpdfr.ini file, located in the lcpdfr folder which is in your game directory.

Also, if you want to change weapons carried as a sidearm, you have to install the weapon model with SparkIV.  I don't use any default weapons any longer.  I use nothing but high poly, high detail weapon models.  Nice ones can be had at gta4-mods.com.

EDIT:  BTW; if changing the weapons in the trunk, you have to use the appropriate weapon name located in the back of the LCPDFR manual.

There is actually a way to change your loadout, i do have police station armory, and you can change or add weapons with that but the problem is every time you load the game and play you have to change it every time, so what i did is i edited my "inventory.mxl" file and just added what i wanted and took out what i did not want, here is an example of my Inventory.xml file and you can change it accordingly..

it's located in the "GTA5\LSPDFR\DATA\"   folder....

If I was you, I would make sure you make a backup copy of that file before you edit it, incase you mess it up...

Now when I enter the game that is all the weapons i get every time..
