Help, I've downloaded first the 1.0b version and did not work in game, and i tried the original 1.0 and still doesnt work, I've read the insetuctions provided and still doesnt work. Could it be my firewall preventing to load ? Please Help! And also none of my scripts are working, I've downloaded both things in the directions.

I'm also new to computer files ect. as i got my computer last wednesday.

Could you please post a screenshot of your GTA IV directory for me please.

 

Also you say none of the versions worked, does your GTA IV load up correctly with them installed but the mods don't function or does it just instantly crash?

yes, gta does work just not lcpdfr or anything like scripts

Ok when you install 1.0b correctly, go into the LCPDFR folder inside your GTA IV directory and run the diagnostic tool.

you want to click the option "Check your installation" and see what things fail.

 

Let me know which ones fail.

It will likely be in your downloads folder (unless you deleted it) so yes redownload LCPDFR 1.0b and install it, then do what I said in my previous post.

Ok, load the diagnostics tool again, but click the "advanced mode" checkbox in the bottom left corner.

 

Then click to check the installation, browse folders to find your GTA IV directory and try again.

Im getting almost the same problem except it says my main game installation is corrupt and I have re installed it 2 times and still getting the same error?

Everything inside the folder LCPD First Response needs to be outside of that folder in your GTA IV directory. Otherwise it wont work.

Gday, I am also having the same issues with LCPD First Response. GTA IV works fine, but LCPDFR 1.0b will not load. I have followed all of these instructions in this thread and still have the same issues. 

The earlier edition 0.9 worked will and I have removed that. Any help would be fanastic... Thanks in advance........ and yes, I am a computer numpty!!!

I use openiv myself, but regardless you should probably make a new thread in the gta iv support section for this. I assume you're modding vehicle or ped models?

Hi, if nothing in this thread has helped you try looking in a couple others because this issue has been reported quite a lot. I also highly recommend looking at myq guide (pinned at the top of this forum section) as that will help you out a lot.

You probably didn't replace it correctly.

You will find a lot of help there for installing vehicles correctly.
