.95 RC1 Control Modification

Featured Replies

Hello, I understand that this mod is still a release candidate, although is there any possible way I can modify the functions to suit my needs? I use ESDF vs WASD and the E function is pretty critical as one can tell. Thank you.

I believe you can change LCPDFR's controls by editing the firstresponse.ini file (may be called something else, not near the comp. with GTA IV installed). Open that up, use Ctrl+F to search for 'controls' and you should be able to edit from there.

Just a note, all the above is based on the information in this topic.

I hope that helps,

Jack

At this time, I think that you cannot change the LCPDFR keys. There are no longer any controls in the .ini. As to if they will ever be put back, I can't say, because I don't know.

Ah, that's a shame.

I've just had a re-read of the link from my earlier post, it appears to be talking about the 0.91 version of LCPDFR. Sorry 'bout that.

The E key is, in reality, the key use for actions like picking up objects, therefore if you have the action key bound to something else, you should be able to use that instead of E.
