Restricting models

Featured Replies

I had an idea, and I'm not sure about if it already exists. But, I was thinking about restricting certain police peds to certain vehicles, so I can restrict my regular police models to police cars and still have a sheriffs department.

darn, i wanted to know that same thing

I don' think you can restrict certain peds to certain vehicles, I know you can change which police peds spawn

Actually I think it may be possible, go to folders

Common/data N' find the Files Called ped. Ide?

May be ide or .dat one of the two I believe.

You can control which ped group drives what type of vehicle, but you can't assign vehicles on a ped-by-ped basis.

In addition, the police group contains every type of officer, so there's no way to distinguish between the different police peds.

but then how do you only get state troopers in alderney?  unless you can restrict the area of the peds in the ide file, then whatever control what car spawns in that area...

You could take the same ped model and put it in each spot, the trooper and the cop and then you'd get the same ped driving all cars

Use the traffic spawn script, i used it to spawn the traffic cops in an added car

You can always add cops and make them driver added sheriff cars
