Hey guys well I'm trying to install some modded cars (links below) and I install them using Open IV and for some reason on the loading pictures it crashes to desktop. I've tried deleting the added cars from Open IV but it still crashes. Here is the links of the cars I am trying to use. Attached is my Vehicle IDE, Handling DAT and Carcols DAT and Trainer in a rar file. Sorry for the videos I don't know how to just get the url link

How many cars are you installing at once? All of them?

Open IV and can some mod or admin delete the old thread

I would suggest going through all the vehicles one at a time to see which one is causing the problem

Have you added anything else such as new scripts or textures (no vehicle textures)/ENB's? 

I have LCPDFR Bravehearts police script and DAS no ENB.

 

I did that I replaced the Vehicle and Ped IMG files with my backup files and still crashes

Oh yeah I forgot police helper and vdh k9 script

Go for a full re-install then do each car one by one.

I remember having the same issue you have now, and I fixed it somehow, but unfotunately I can't really remember how.

But doesn't look the handling.dat a little bit weird? Please correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm not that into this kind of thing. Don't you have any handling.dat file as a backup before the game crashed? I'd try to use this one only now for testing purposes no matter what the handling of the cars is going to be like... Just saying...

ok I got all of the files and then added them I didn't know u had to go to one by one. Do you think I should remake that vehicles ide or would it be alright (not corrupt)

Ok how does it look weird? you mean because of all of the long vehicle names?
 

I'd replace this one as well. Only for testing puporses so I suggest you better make backups of your current files. 

Oh I think that rings a bell. Did you add these cars additionally to the "usual" cars (so not replacing one)? That would make sense then and would be okay, sorry my bad. Otherwise my method MIGHT (not sure!) work.

It doesn't explain why it crashes after I replaced the vehicles IMG with the original

 

Seems to be working time to test with ELS and SNT

Crashed again :( looks like ill have to delete the added cars, causing too many issues and anyway it would probably fuck up multiplayer clan games. Thanks for the help!

One question how do I add engine sounds and sirens  to the added cars (I don't like electric vehicles...)
