Hello forum,

 

I got two questions.

1. I installed two copys of GTA IV but I want to play both with other settings and without changing them everytime when I start the game. Are there any commandline.txt lines that I can use?

2. I installed a car mod with one component, the car is locked and I want the car spawning without the extra. Is there any line for the vehicles.ide saying the car spawns without its components?

1. Try this in either (or both) of the directories: http://gtaforums.com/topic/382923-how-to-use-command-line-parameters/?p=1058748294

2. You could try adding "+ext_rare" at the end of the vehicles.ide line. It will sometimes spawn the extras; however, as suggested by the name, it will be rare.

1) Does your commandline include 'safemode'? If so, remove it.

2) Try putting 'ext_script' at the end of the car's vehicles.ide line.

There's no way around the commandline problem I guess, I have that problem as well. Just have to live with it :/

No, I don't have any problems with the commandline. I just wanted to ask if there is a way how to change the settings of tow copys of GTA IV without changing them in the game.
