Well, got a AOC screen for my birthday yesterday (yay) but it is not working properly. The screen itself are 23" but the picture is abount 21" and is centered in the middle, leaving 2" on the sides. I tried to change the resolution on both the screen and the computer, but i can't fix it. Help?

I'd look at the monitor settings too, just in case they're not correct. There should be a "Automatic" button on the screen (if you're lucky).

There is no automatic button, and i cannot access the "image setup" tab in the screen menu (built in)

If you have another output port (VGA/DVI/HDMI) try using another or try flipping the cable (the end that's currently in the PC goes in the monitor and vice versa). It seems like the stupidest thing, but it seems to work for me whenever I have monitor issues.

I'll try that. EDIT: Flipping the cabels didn't work.

Hello, Officer Vic

The same thing happened to me, its sounds like an overscan issue.

Look for overscan in your graphics card settings, it should be somewhere under display.

Adjust the overscan until the picture fits the whole screen.

Viola!
