All Clear Button

Featured Replies

Today, I was pulling over a bansee with a driver not wearing the seat belt. The driver fled and I gave chase and called in the pursuit. After about 3 minutes we boxed in the car and arrested the old lady. I called for transport and the officers that assisted me pointed the guns at her and all that jazz. However they did not take her into the car or anything and she was just stuck in her spot.

So I thought to myself okay ill just leave the scene and it will clear. Well this was not the case. I drove fairly far away and thought I could continue on patrol. I came up upon a vehicle (ALPR in use) that had a Suspended License Marker. So I attempted to pull over said vehicle and could not. The button wouldn't work. All my LCPDFR buttons stopped working. I couldn't call for backup or pull anyone over. I tried the ALT + E button to update status but it didn't work either.

This is not the first time this has happened and the last time was a drunk driver call that spawned a blimp on the map but when I got to the blimp it was no car, no person, nothing. Just a frozen blimp and nothing I could do about it.

I am wondering if LCPDFR team could implement a "All Clear" button that would remove the scene from memory or the game or however it works. Like Braveharts script where you could press a button and it would put you back to available for calls after removing whatever you were working with.

Anyone else having this problem? What do you guys think of this suggestion?

Indeed... i have had the same issue a few times... once i even went back to the handcuffed suspect from way across town (they were still standing where i left them) and loaded them into my car to take them to jail..

I did so but at the jail there was no "blue down arrow" for the unloading process to kick in... so in order to reset the buttons i sadly had to shoot the suspect after which the Alt-E was able to be used triggering new call outs...

I dont know what causes it or how to fix it...

I tried increasing the ELS AI car range but still no joy at times.... and as it doesn't happen all of the time there must be something i am doing to mess things up... perhaps its when i push E and walk the suspect to a convenient place to be picked up?

Be interesting to see what the devs have to comment?

I have ran into this issue a few times as well. It almost always happens if i play for 45 min to an hour! My game still runs great, its the LCPDFR keys that completely stop working, even if i reload scripts they still dont work!

Have you tried shooting the suspect? Never had this myself (yet), so I can't be sure, but headshots solve most AI problems :)

Shooting the suspect is fine and dandy, but I am mainly worried about frozen blimps on the map or the keys not working.

Plus sometimes you want to sorta be realistic and that sucks when you have to shoot AI for no good reason.

I would love this.

I have so many issues with objects or peds not properly unloading, especially when I alt-tab by accident or something just goes wrong. Great idea.
