When the queen dies, will the anthem change? I heard from somewhere that apparently a king is actually next in the line of royalty. Is this true? Will the anthem stay the same?

It will change, to 'God save the King'. We planned for this and yes, the next person in line is HRH Prince Charles, The Prince Of Wales.

Don't worry about it...it's much the same with us and the states :P

Prince Charles is the next in line to be on the throne after Elizabeth. But Charles my not be the next king, as there is an discussion about if Charles wants to be king. there have been information that prince William will be the next on the throne and the next king of England. but who knows! as from "now" the Queen is still on the throne and will stay like this for so and so years, She has kept her promise that she will be an Queen to the very last breath.

Charles is a bit of an old fart by now, he'd only hang about for a year or so before his time expires. William's young, I think the "best" approach long term is to let Willie take over.
