Featured Replies

Hey everyone.. I know i seen these Somewhere about 6 months ago but cant find the topic and hope there is a update on it lol,, IS there a way to Pick which models can Patrol in some area of Liberty City?.. For example i can have Noose ad PolPAtriot Patrol in Bohan and so on! i have Config the PolPAtriot as a State Police car and the Stockade ... and the PRivite company Stockade is the Swat Van and it works really well with the Spawn Script seeing other police patrol as well and respond to lcpdfr calls :) so wanted to know if i can give them areas to patrol thanks,,

PS: I hope I didn't Confuse everyone :)

There's currently no way to spawn certain models, or replace after spawn, in only certain areas.

You can use ALM by Sam for that ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>) and then you can use Traffic Spawner by cp702 to allow police models that normally doesn't spawn, spawn ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>).

ALM will change vehicle textures, depending on map area, but not always successfully. It'd be great if someone could take over and update it, since Sam is probably pretty busy with LCPDFR itself. It could use some changes to certain areas to make them work a bit better (may be a game limitation for some things I've noticed), and to add more areas for finer control. Along those lines, someone could make one that will swap vehicle or ped models using the same methods, which would allow you to do what you wanted, but those could be a bit more complicated even if someone was up for it.

Traffic Spawner is pretty simple; you choose a vehicle model, choose a ped model and how many you want, set a few other values, and the game will spawn those vehicles. Sometimes you'll get errors where the game will refuse to spawn the vehicle or ped, but it works pretty flawlessly. Except for the "response" option; vehicles will usually drive into walls. You're better off sticking to that feature of TrafficFlow, if you use it.
