Carcol line confusion

Featured Replies

I'm starting to add real cars into my game and the last two i downloaded the readme said "IMPORTANT: THE LINE BELOW MUST BE USED IN "car4" SECTION OF CARCOLS.DAT FILE, REMOVE ANY EXISTENT CARCOL LINE FOR THE CAR YOU REPLACED AND ADD THIS ONE INSTEAD"

Does this mean replace the line for the car your replacing AND the car4, or just replace car4 even if you had done that for another car

I'm really confused about this and any help would be great

Without knowing what you downloaded it's a little difficult to tell.

My best guess is you need to find the car4 section and in that delete the line of the car you replaced, and in that now empty space put the new line from the readme.

I can't even check my carcol.dat file to see what it means because I'm at university waiting for my next exam. Otherwise I would double check for you.

Hope this helps. :)
