Automatic Installer Question (1.0)

Featured Replies

I'm wondering if it is possible to tell the automatic installer which volume to install 1.0 into after using it already for a different install?  I have a few different installs of IV/LCPDFR on my machine that I use to have different setups and mods on.  So I installed 1.0 on my main install using the automatic installer but now when I open it it just gives me the option to modify that install but not switch directories.  Is there a way to make it go back to where you can select where to install?  If not I'll just do it manually, its just that the remove feature of the automatic installer that gets rid of .95 is really useful. Thanks for the help

Sadly not, you'll have to install it manually into your second directory.

the uninstall feature is very handy, but if you make a zipped archive of a CLEAN install of GTA IV then you will save a small amount of space and have a perfect copy of GTA IV ready in case modding goes wrong.

It will also make it much easier for you to unistall mods because all you ave to do is delete it all and copy the clean GTA IV files back across.

hope this helps.
