My taser won't work. At all.

I've tried pressing 'T' like fifteen times in a row but it never appears, the only thing that happens is that radar zoom thing.

I followed Sam's guide here: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

And downloaded the taser install files, disabled read only on common/data but it still won't work.

 

Help please?

UNRELATED PROBLEM (Didn't want to make two threads) - If I press 'E' to make a suspect get out of the car, the game crashes.

Me too! :( I hope we get this problem fixed.

The hotfix fixed alot of my issues and now my taser isnt working either if that makes yall feel better. Now i just have to beat them with my baton or sick the dog on them

 

im having the same problom, the manual install fixed it a few times but now nothing

 

I have the same problem aswell once I even use the gun and shot someone in the leg  (great police protocall)  I didn't have the taser and I don't know how to install the taser manually

has anyone found a answer to this? i still am stuck just like all of you

I read and followed Sam's post at '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> exactly and used the files provided there. Now I can draw the Taser using Ctrl+T and use it just as I do my pistol. To holster it I also use Ctrl+T.  This of course conflicts with VDHTowingService but I'm sure there's a .ini file which can be edited to avoid this. Make sure you follow Sam's directions exactly and be sure to delete AdvancedHookInit.asi as he states or it won't work. This is what worked for me, hope it helps somebody else.
