Anyone else have performance drop on 1.0?

Featured Replies

If anything, My game runs smooth (aside from crashes) and loads allot better.

|| All my New || Unreleased || Current, Mods can be found || HERE ||

I did encounter a performance drop when I had the Stark Tower mod by H1Vltg3 installed, but once I removed it everything was fine.

Am I the only one here who's LCPDFR works properly?

I had crashes immediately after 2minutes of gameplay till I look around to see what other people are fixing their crashes. Did some of the solutions and my game worked like a charm. But I do crash here and there (also practicing moddling -- which probably nowadays my crashes coming from). Work like a charm; only fps drop i get is in the apartment with my enb on. Once i get outside its like it didnt happen.

If anyone does have a drop you should try the 'large address aware' application, it can decrease fps drops (but of course it depends from person to person).

Just  quick suggestion for those who experience FPS drop and frequent crashes- Remove all other mods from GTA IV, and slowly put one by one back into the game and go test. It's a tedious job, but will work 99.9% of the time. Also, make sure LCPDFR 1.0 is not conflicting with other policing scripts. (Such as VDHPoliceHelper, Braveheart callouts, etc..) I've done what I said before, and LCPDFR works perfectly with my clan's pack. Hope this helps!

Can yall reccomend  a good ENB that has good refelection and is good for ELS?? BEsides the game4enbs because those look bad on my pc! I have 1.0.7.0

Oh and how do i change the quick action menu control key because i cant use my siren on my xbox controller without that popping up!

I too have had NO problems with it (other than an install fail right at the beginning, which was an easy fix). I did actually re-download it last night, and now I have a fresh install waiting to be modded. I recommend this to anybody who's had any sort of problems. If you are 100% certain that none of your mods are causing you problems, re-install your game and throw all the mods back in, it should fix any problems; although I don't recommend this.

Any 3rd party modifications can be hurting your game or system, and you wouldn't even notice it was that particular mod, until you took it out. Try what Nexx said, slowly re-apply your modifications (starting with LCPDFR) until you may find the one hurting your FPS. This may not even be the case at all, maybe you have a mid-to-low-end computer, and the combination of the game, and all the modifications just overload your GPU.

Hope this helped.

I recommend giving Reality IV a try, it's an excellent graphic enhancer that makes your game look beautiful, and almost does nothing to your peformance.

Reality IV is NOT an ENB, it's a timecycle mod that just changes the look of your timecycles/shaders.

You can find it here.
