"LCPDFR_Loader.Loader" Error

Featured Replies

Hi, everytime I try to load a new game I recieve the following error, "error loading LCPDFR_Loader.Loader". I am running as an administrator and followed all of the steps in the automatic installer. I also installed the prerequisites that were within the auto installer but I'm still recieving the error upon start up. There are no crashes, but the script fails to load. Can you help me please?

  • I replaced the files from the manual install folder with the files that were installed from the auto-installer. That's all I did and it got rid of the error. Just overwrite the files that were install

  • It would help if you attached your LCPDFR.log instead of just saying "I got the same issue".

same for me

Yeah... It would be nice to know what is causing it. Its a legit copy and the latest version of the game. Im pretty sure that is exactly what my log file is saying as well.

Guys, believe it or not I solved the problem. I just copied what was in the manual installation over to what corresponded to the files in my GTA IV folder

Can you explain that a little bit better?  What was in the wrong location?

How do you do that?? I cant get past the last prerequiste on the Automatic installer with the x64 error alot of people got...they all did a manual install so they are fine! Except me i get the loader loader error!!!!!! :(... I cant even see the files in the Automatic installer due to the flippin prerequistes...

Guys I figured it out.  Download the Auto installer EXTRACT it from the zip file, run it as an adminstator if you've installed 1.0 already uninstall it then re-run the auto installer as an admin and it should work.  I think the problem was people either not extracting the installer or failing to run as an administrator.

Everyone with your own issues, start your own thread. You do not necessarily have the exact same issue.
