I had that issue to and the below quote helped it, the only issue for me remains is that ctrl-p doesn't work, alt-P does, but I will open different topic for that.

 

If you have x64 redristubtables, then uninstall that. Also check if other scripts are loading.

Sorry, i forgot to quote it. LCPDFR installed 2012 x64 redistibuables. After uninstalling them, it worked for me. Maybe it could work vice versa, but I read that GTA4 is more of 32-bits architecture.

That helped me a lot working with ENB and improvement of performance. With LCPDFR 1.0 it helped me to actually get in to the PD and start my duty.

MY SHDN CONSOLE IS NOT EVEN COMING UP ANYMORE IN GAME. IS THE PROBLEM SOLVED WITH THE ALT+P PROBLEM?

@cp702: When I press ALT+P it starts the police station script. Only after that, when I press `/~ key and type in forceduty, it starts. I also have been troubleshooting since this morning and still no luck. Check out my posting: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
@gbaker: What happens when you press ALT+P? If nothing happens. Go to programs in windows control panel and check the C++ redistritutables. Delete the x64 ones and give it a shot.

Erugh!  I deleted the x64 thing, but it still doesn't work >:(

Me, im having this problem too

If any of you are missing LCPDFR.log or LCPDFRErrorLogging.txt in your main directory, try creating them by right clicking and chosing to create a new text file but name them exactly like i did with correct letter case.  I did this and I finally got my alt p to work.

By clean install he means did you uninstall the game and install it again. :) 

i have tried everything automatically and manually installing lcpdfr 1.0 i have also tried re-installing the game but still nothing. someone please help

I've installed the Automatic and the Manual but they both doesn't work. HELP!

I also uninstalled it and installed it again but doesn't work either. Some people say delete C++ x64 things but they also didn't work, so I need some serious help please!

Hi, I am having the same issues, I cant get the game to work ie: alt p I have tried pretty much everything read all the posts, updated everything, removed the game and reinstalled, nothing Is working, I got this when I ran the diagnosis, and tried to update the script hook to update that but didn't update at all, I ran a diagnosis data.txt. Also I have automatically added the lcpdfr automatically and manually but nothing works. please help me I have been at this for 5 days now. thank in advance

 

 

 

 

 

Im having same problem ive even tried the forceduty in comand console, have u guys tried that with force duty???? THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS AND PROBABLY EVERYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROMBLEM!!! 

So, what we are getting is that the auto install isnt working that great. I auto'd it first time then uninstall then manual. all i have left now to fix is the PD which i am doing right now. 

its driving me nuts like I said im on the 5th day trying to get this to work and nothing. I have deleted the automatic install and did a manual install, however the manual install seems to be the same as the automatic install unless I am missing something? Do you have to have the previous 95 version installed before the 1.0? I know you have to delete it but just wondering if it has to be put in there before? I have attached a screen shot of when I start loading the lcpdfr installation, has an x beside the asi dsound loader, and cannot figure that one out

I have the same issue and i just finish doing a complete reinstall of all of my games, so I starting freash all the way around because this game comes first!

But no matter what i do I cant get the first repsonse 1.0 to work at all! I hit alt P and nothing...... PLEASE HELP!
