I think it's about trial and error. What I did was build up everything except ENB. Then I made a copy in the same directory as the root Rockstar Games. I tried about 6 ENB's and I was the most impressed by CryENB 10. He will release his final version in a few days, which looks unbelievable. http://fabriciuz.wix.com/fabriciuz

Do you see any othe redistributables which might conflict ? Maybe x64 redis'. Can you see something in log files?

Thanks for the share. I have reverted back to win 7 ultimate x64 as well, because Windows 8.1 is not optimized for past games. It has DX11.1, i believe, and GTA4 runs directx 9.0. Hopefully the 280x runs better and last part remains is the CPU.

Hello there, I was wondering what your hardware set-up is and which OS you're playing LCPDFR. I have did everything software-wise to optimize GTA4, and I am in process of upgrading my hardware and just upgraded my 4GB 1333 to a 8GB XMP 1600. Wednesday I will be trading my Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 GDDR3 OC to a 280x. The remaining part will be !5-3330 @ 3350GHz. Still I get random crashes and the strange part is, my FPS is above 30 now and sometimes it drops, but usually crashes occured when the fps went below 10. I am going to play one more round and then I will open a thread.

I will probably buy the noctuna myself, when I buy a new CPU. Also...I have been doing some troubleshooting with OCCT on my GPU and I found out that when I benchmark DX9 non-fullscreen it had 14 fps and when i did fullscreen it would not go above 0.1. With directx11 I have average of 100fps fullscreen. Any idea what this means?

Open the ini and find the following attribute: FirstStart=False/True. I believe this activates the tutorial again.

What are you looking for in cooling? Temperature ? Silence? I know the Scythe Mugen''s are good in cooling, but is huge. Also the Noctua NH-D14 120&140mm seems te get good reviews on tweakers.net, which is the best Dutch Technological website.

Hi Ghillie, Thanks for the update. I am looking for a budget solution at the moment, but planning for a major upgrade of I7 and not yet decided GPU. Also I don't understand is: some say GTA4 is more CPU depended and some say GPU. What is correct information? I also benchmarked the game and what stood out was the fact that system memory usage was the highest 92%, whereas CPU Usage is 50% and video memory is 51% with highest settings. So I am kinda lost where all my problems come from :)

I just deleted all log-files. Started GTA4 and got the error in script loader.loader error + MMA10 out of memory. It worked a minute ago??? //Edit Just started my shift and about to do a traffic stop and this other vehicle went fleeing and I called in pursuit and about to catch up it crashed again. The MMA10 error and script loader.loader error dissapeared after adding the folowing commandline: -norestrictions -nomemrestrict. Just got another LCPDFR.log error

Hello Sam, I got constant crashes and I'm kinda trying to rule out if it''s my GPU or other hardware or that's badly configured. I just did a clean install and installed ENB with some other modification except vehicle and ped mods. Did a manual install. I have x86 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 refdis, .Net Framework 3.5 + 4.5. The result just a few minutes ago was no call-outs and at one point it crashed, just turning around corner. I have made a rar with all the logs, including DWI file for dependency check. Thank you guys. If we can create some kind off a certainty, then I will accept that. I am also going to some settings of ATI, because I believe the GPU is OC-ed and I am going to try to get it to factory core settings. Maybe that will solve the generic problems :)

Wisely said, but visions may differ and apology in this case is respect, for I don't know you and how you deal with critism :) I understand...my problem is I always set high expectation, especially with such product. I mean empatisize for a moment... you're playing different combo's for two months straight and nothing helps...and the 1.0 appears...you''re racing accross town to catch up and as soon as the suspense rises, bam !! GOODBYE :) At that point FPS is around 30. If it would drop below 10, then I would assume incapable hardware, but that doesn''t occur. I have exausted every possible solution. I just did a clean install and dropped ENB on it and my scripts and gonna try again. Question to you as well: Did you check the advancedhook dependencies? There are some red rows. Thanks !!

What about that? @NoBueno008: What is the titan solution? :D I am thinking of a solution between Superman and the rage of Wolverine Also I am trying the understand how GTA4 handles LCPDFR + ENB + ELS + Extreme texture modding and which hardware handles wath. Apparantly 4 core I5-3330 + 3GB videocard is either too low or too high for it to streamline the scripts and textures and other games I have no problems. Thanks

ATI Radeon HD 7950 GDDR5 OC A 925mhz/1250 mhz I get around 30fps and have frequent crashes. Since I started this LCPDFr I have had no longer than a half an hour play en ELS causes my system to crash as well. What do you think of my GPU and what recommend do you have for a next GPU, because I have almost given up on this.

Hello, I have seen quite a few C0000005 errors passing the forums. Is there any clarification for that? Also what hardware do you use to play LCPDFR? Thanks a bunch.

It loads indeed, but then it crashes. There is no specific action. I have had crashes with 33fps. Going to other parts of town. The C00000005 error is the main cause, but that could be anything. And I also noticed few other posts which have the same error code with Advancedhook. Did you also check out the dependecy screenshot and especially the red marked rows? Thanks. I have added files of recent crash. Do you know what the error means? In the mean time I also installed 2008 distributable x86.

@cp702: When I press ALT+P it starts the police station script. Only after that, when I press `/~ key and type in forceduty, it starts. I also have been troubleshooting since this morning and still no luck. Check out my posting: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> @gbaker: What happens when you press ALT+P? If nothing happens. Go to programs in windows control panel and check the C++ redistritutables. Delete the x64 ones and give it a shot.

I did more research on the forums and found this tool dependency walker, which shows some missing dll''s(see attachement). I really don''t know how to read this, so maybe you could see something. I also noticed that with the installation x64 redistrubatables are required, but it causes conflicts with LCPDFR 1.0 Maybe better to put it out. As I understand GTA4 works best with x86 architecture. Also I noticed that .Net framework 4.5.1 is installed. I just uninstalled it and installed 4.5. I am now going to test that.

In addition, the forceduty doesn''t function by pressing ctrl-p or type forceduty in console.

Hello ya'll Wonderfull day and wonderfull people, despite the fact that i can't play more than 15 minutes; especially crossing the bridge to Time Square I have major framedrops. I have had crashes and below I posted logs of the errors. I have the following set-up Mainbord: Asus P8Z77-V LX2 CPU: Intel Core i5-3330 @ 3.0 Ghz RAM: 4GB Corsair (CMV4G3M2A1333C9) DDR3 Value Select DIMM Kit (2x2Gb) Graphic: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 OC // 950Mhz : 1250 MHz Hard: 128GB Corsair M4 SSD2 OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 and windows update is fully installed. All hardware firmware are updated and memcheck shows no error. Also I would like your opinion on your setup and if you give me some advice for upgrade, so I don't have to worry about running everything. Thank you.
