Spark iv issue

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

My problem today is related to spark iv for gta 4. So what happens is that I mod the game cars and put in different ones.

I modded under all these cars, ambulance, FBI, firetruk, noose, nstockade, police, police2, polpatriot, and pstockade.

So I go into game and all the cars spawn and everything. After a while though not all the cars spawn through simple native trainer like they were before, which is really weird. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean with that they do not spawn? Are you pressing the spawn key and nothing happens? Are the models very high poly? If yes, then that is most likely the issue.

Are you running the game as administrator? Is it a legal copy of the game?

Since you are using SparkIV, take your time to press "save" & "rebuild", this will solve some issues when importing cars.

If that does not work, consider reinstalling the mods using a different software, for example OpenIV.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

As many as you'd like to, but of course that is not the way to do it since installing mods in a bulk is never a good idea. You install one car, test the game. Install another car, test the game. And so on.

What are your system specs? Most times when it says that, your PC is out of resources and the game won't spawn the car to stop itself from crashing. If your specs aren't very strong, that could be your issue. If your specs are good, try reducing the Vehicle Density in the Option menu, or try moving to a different area when you try to spawn new cars.

I see. I do apologize for the late answer. I think your computer is running out of memory when playing the game after a while, hence causing the models not to load. Fortunately, there may be a fix. To circumvent a less powerful computer, and maybe get the game up and running, create a txt file called “commandline.txt” (without quotes) in your main GTA IV installation directory and insert the following lines:

-renderquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -novsync -renderquality 0 -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict

Now, this will make the game look pretty bad. If you feel an improvement with this commandline, consider switching out all the contents to this instead:

-novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict
