Unlocked Ford Explorer

Featured Replies

Yes, I know this has been asked many times but is there a good 3d model of the 2012 Ford Explorer from Need for Speed Most Wanted 2012? I've tried both Ninja Ripper and 3d Ripper DX to get the model but nothing. I just get a pile of sh*t, I even tried the 3d model from gamemodels (which is messed up badly). I'm not asking for a finished Ford Explorer ready to be edited and put into GTA 4, Even a model without textures in 3ds max will work. Hope you understand.

Thanks in advance,

The selections are messed up so I can't apply any textures. For example, the whole body, including the interior, lights and windows is 1 selection.

Use the select > single tool then. I know it is tedious, but if you are desperate for the model, it is what you need to do.

Finally I figured out how to select the body only.  But I have a question, how do I make custom selections? Like, I wanna create a body selection and name it for example "body".

EDIT: Also, when I try to edit the body UV I get this message:  "Object "  Untitled[0]" has not enough UV channels in vertex format".

In the hierarchy, right click the name of the object you're getting the error with and select "Properties". Go though expanding: "Mesh" > "Vertices" > "Format" > and double click on the value for "UV Channels", removing the "1" and replacing it with "2". Once done, click apply and ok and then try editing the UV again.

If you name it Body you have to rename it when you export it

I just got rid of the light bars, the push bar and the human model inside! Now the fun part begins!  :woot:

But I still don't know how to make custom selections.  :wallbash:

Any tips?

EDIT: Also @twerq34 I don't see "Vertices" in Properties>Mesh. I only see polygons.
