Hi LCPDFR,

 

I'm trying to convert a vehicle to IV from Sketchup, the only problem i have is how to scale it in 3ds max to an appropriate size. Anybody who has done this before (or not) who can help me?

Why not try importing it into ZModeler and import a default GTA IV car (the one that looks the closest) and scale it from there. I'd highly recommend not using a Sketchup model, try using one from a different game? gamemodels is definitely a good choice for them.

Normally i would agree with you, but if i import it to zmodeler it will litterely be 100 to 200 times as big :/ So i don't think that's an option. I've also tried scaling it in Max but it still turns out too big i zmodeler2.

Does it honestly matter if it's 100-200x too big? You're just going to scale it down?! The best way is to have the axis X and Y selected and in any view hold SHIFT and drag down to scale.
