Wrong Color On Els

Featured Replies

Ok, so I have a slight problem with one of my cars. The weird thing is that its only with this car and not the others.

The lights are orange and baby blue as shown in the video.. Any ideas what might be the problem??

No ELS expert, but I know you can change the emittance color in the ELS.ini.

Or, it's the ENB you are using that is causing this issue.

Thanks for the quick response! Yeah, i've checked the colors in the ELS files of course :) The enb file though, I dont really know where or what to look for, since I've havent really had the problem with any other cars. The blue light is a wee bit lighter then they should but the red lights have all been red and not orange as shown in the clip :/

I'm pretty sure it's your ENB and ELS textures clashing, it happens on some cars. What I would do is load the ELS textures (Use SparkIV/OpenIV to export them from the vehicle model) and make the darker. That should hopefully fix it.

Wow, I really didn't understand what you meant there at all, sorry.

Edit your texture file that shows the color of the ELS lights. Load it into your paint editor(I use GIMP). Make the red/blue textures darker and see if that works.

I believe that the lights are supposed to be blue and amber, not red and blue. The light texture is usually called emergelights_emis.png or something like that.

It looks to me like the ENB is causing it. Does this error happen to any other cars, because if not, doing what sharpcommand said should fix it.

Most of my blue lights are light blue, not as bad as the one on the video though. I'll try and figure out how to do what Sharpcommand said and see what I come up with.

Thanks!

Sorry about that, I posted that late last night so my syntax was all over the place.

What I meant to say was; export the ELS textures and load them in a picture editing program such as Photoshop or GIMP and make them darker (these textures are usually called emerglights and emerglights_emis) by using the tools available to you such as Brightness, Vibrance, ect. Then just import the new edited textures, and see if they make a difference.

Ok so it's definitely my ENB, all my cars have that light blue color... is it enbseries.ini or enbconfig.ini that I have to play around with? And whats it called? The option I have to change??
