GTA IV & EFLC engine issues (car)

Featured Replies

Not sure if this is the proper place, to post but I was curious if anyone has a fix for when hijacking a car, or when i spawn a car I dont hear the engine sound... I pretty much have no audio from the car except the radio & the wind/tire sounds

That's a bug with spawning cars with SNT. No idea how to fix it though, sometimes the sound just comes back.

Hmm thats odd , are you using a laptop, gta has alot of problems when it runs on them because they nreally arent made to support a game

Desktop, happens to onboard audio & dedicated soundcard. just recently started happening about 2 days ago.. (no unusual changes.. just updated SNT from 6.1 to 6.3) thats all.. even dropping back to 6.1 still has it now :P but its just a minor issue i can ignore it

I have that happen every now and again even on vanilla GTA IV. If I keep driving for a bit, the engine sound eventually pops back in. This happened recently today actually during a pursuit. I flipped my car over and I jacked a passing-by car to try and catch up. lol No engine sound, and eventually I ended up falling behind anyway.

Ah, the "insta-hybrid" glitch, as I call it.

It's just some random GTA sound glitch. It happens to me on occasion as well, and I don't have anything close to a low-end system.

The fix? There isn't one. Just learn to ignore it I guess.
