OKAY, I am getting a serious urge to punch something now, as the two of these problems mean that I have encountered problems with this mod 5 TIMES. Now, when I try to run the diagnostics tool provided by Sam, it gets to the point where is says "detected EFLC" then stops working, and Windows (7) tries to close it, which is even more annoying, because I don't want it to close it, even if it isn't working!

Furthermore, my EFLC stops working completely when I try to run it as administrator, as suggested in a previous topic. It does the social club login as normal, then asks me if SecurLauncher can make changes to my computer, I say yes, it reads the disk for multiple seconds, loads something, and nothing else happens. Absolutely nothing. I have been waiting 10 minutes now... STILL NOTHING.

I really need help with installing this mod, a detailed walkthrough would be highly appreciated, 'cause there's NO WAY I'm going to be able to do this by myself without smashing my window

I honestly dunno what you're doing wrong, you were talking in another thread about creating folders and moving files and what not. It's really not an involved process or anything, you just install the game, install the mod and play...

I have seen people trying to do that before, and they have been told to make a separate thread.

Okay, I will tell you exactly what I'm doing.

1. Go to download section

2. click on 0.91-Automatic Install

3. Install it

4. Load up EFLC

5. Log into social club and Games for windows-LIVE

6. As soon as the game loads, I press LEFT ALT+P and the graphics just go blurry. I have tried downloading this mod before and it didn't work, I just want to know what I'm doing wrong, because the diagnostics tool, as mentioned, has broken.

Also, when it says it has automatically detected my installation folder, it makes me select it myself, and I don't know what one it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the mod detects is automatically, then why ask me to set it?

Post all content of the files with 'log' in their names (in your gta iv folder)

I think I've got something... I had a peep inside the ScriptHook and it says this:

[FATAL] Failed to detect game version

Okay, there is nothing there with "log" in the name. Bear in mind, I have EFLC, not IV.

Okay, it's downloading. But, can I ask you one thing? When I go to "Grand Theft Auto Episodes from Liberty City" and right click and click "Run as Administrator", it doesn't do anything. Any idea why? Also, diagnostics aren't working...
