Anyway to replicate the lighting of the Triangle to the entire world?

Featured Replies

As some of you probably know, the lights look really really good in the Triangle(times square) area. I'm assuming there is some setting somewhere which makes them that way, is there anyway to make the entire world have those settings? Anyone know by chance where that setting would be located? Figured I'd try this before I go searching through each file in the DATA folder for any clue of the lighting/environment settings.

Thanks

I noticed a line in ...pcdatatimecyclemodifers.dat that has Star Junction listed.  It may alter the appearance of the lights.  It could be a place to start.

interesting, thanks for finding that. I've been gone all week so I haven't had a chance to look at anything but I'll be home tomorrow so I'll check it out then and see if putting those values in some other area works. I'll report back with my findings. I have a feeling that might be what I'm looking for since it makes sense.

If I remember well timecycmodifiers and the other timecyc files aren't using the same commands as the timecyc.dat  If I remember well timecyc.dat has more settings. You could try checking which number is for what in timecycmodifiers and try to put those numbers into the appropriate spot in timecyc.dat
