So how many of you play LCPDFR online? Does anyone like organise it or do you just post a thread every so often and asks who wants to play. I currently run GTAIV without the expansions and I'm using LCPDFR v0.91 because 0.95 keeps crashing on me at the moment, so would that mean I can't play with those running 0.95?

    Perhaps what the moderators should do is create one specific thread for anything multiplayer. That way we don't get repeat threads about multiplayer all the time. It would be more organized that way

Make a post like you are doing now and add people. :)

Once you see them online, you can play together. LCPDFR and GTAIV keys conflict sometimes, so you might want to change the keys around.

Perhaps what the moderators should do is create one specific thread for anything multiplayer. That way we don't get repeat threads about multiplayer all the time. It would be more organized that way.

Or maybe a category for it that way you just create a thread asking people to add you or organise events.

But keep in mind First Response wasn't really designed for multiplayer from what I know so you would have to test it to find out for sure because I really do not know.

Well I was thinking for example the callouts would be different and as another one say me and you were playing, what happens if a pursuit comes out? Then again it might just work on what the hosts computer is putting out. But if you want to test it I'm available =P

Xlive disables windows live, which thus disables multiplayer. I could sub in dsound if I wanted to, it's not difficult at all just copy and paste.

Why do I always feel educated after I read one of your posts? =P I see what you mean now, well if you feel like testing it let me know.

I've quite tested it on multiplayer. Weapons like taser, beanbag shotty don't work on players/arent' synced with players, some animations on callouts and stuff aren't synced, everyone gets different callouts, traffic stops become buggy, AI cops called as backup won't really pursue suspects with lights and sirens and pursuits are SLOW. There might sometimes be crashes, but ye.

Ah, in that case are there any plans for the future to look the mp aspect of this mod? I appreaciate it wouldn't be anytime soon since the dev team has its hands full trying to polish off the sp mode of the mod.

They realize everyone would like it, but I wouldn't expect to see anything happen this year.
