Alright, so a few days ago I reinstalled GTA IV so I could have a fresh backup copy just in-case. I've copied a new directory and put a few mods in there (Cars, LCPDFR, ENB, Trainer) but immediately I noticed a weird issue that only occurs whenever I press Backspace. Basically my game would freeze for about a second or two whenever I press that key which is extremely annoying when you're trying to close the trainer or to tell Roman to shut up and that you don't want to go bowling. I know that this is an ENB issue because it doesn't do it on my backup/non ENB directories. 

 

I'm using Game4Video's ENB and I've never had an issue with it before so I don't understand why this randomly started happening now on this directory. After a few Google searches I came up blank on a solution so that's why I'm posting this here.

 

This is seriously driving me up the wall so help is greatly appreciated. 

 

Problem solved. Turns out it was an issue with the d3d9.dll file.

My guess is it could be the ENB. Have you tried other ENBs? 

It's definitely the ENB. I can run the game fine even whilst recording so it's not that. Just whenever I press backspace it freezes the game, I have no idea why. As I mentioned I've used this ENB before and I've used many other ENBs and this is the first time I've ever had a issue like this so I'm really confused to why it's doing it.

I don't think the ENB has been updated, but it's this one: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> I know he has a second one out there so i'm not really sure which one is more recent. 

 

I haven't touched my timecyc or visualsettings before or after installing the ENB so I don't think it's that.

Yes, that one is the most recent, but if you didn't had this issue before with Game4videos ENB then you also shouldn't have it now.

Yeah that's what I don't understand, that I've used this ENB before and never experienced this issue until now on this directory. It makes no sense to me.
