Realistic AI reaction to nearby Emergency vehicles.

Featured Replies

I've noticed that sometimes the AI reaction to a nearby Police car (on blues) (or, Ambulance or, Fire Appliance) is to either go too far and crash when moving to one side or, in some cases, not to react at all and continue driving as if nothing is happening, even when cycling the sirens.

Could someone write a script to stop this and instead make the AI move neatly to the side of the road or, to make them stop or, something else, something more realistic than drive at the central reservation or to ignore completely.

Also, maybe put in that the AI should be forced to do this quicker when the different sirens are cycled....like in real life.

Thanks

ELSv7 does a pretty good job at clearing the streets, imho. But I do agree that the AI takes it too seriously sometimes and rams into stuff.

Soon enough friend, RC3 will be out and the AI will be improved a lot. Until then all we can do is wait for the LCPD:FR devs to finish their amazing work. If you would like a modification that improves the AI driving when your on patrol I suggest the Less Overtake mod. That will definitely help you on the roads. A good example would be when your stopped at a traffic light and usually the AI would just smash the back of your cruiser to get through but with the mod installed they will stay back a safe distance and you can drive in traffic normally. Here is a link to the less  overtake mod http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=11213. Hope this helps you whilst your trying to survive Liberty City's dangerous drivers .
