Els V7 doesn't work. V6 always work but V7 doesn't work. I mean I press H,J, and k and I heard the bleep sound because of els v7 but the lights dont work :(. What is wrong with v7. It used to work but after I installed a car mod it didn't work anymore and I reinstall gta iv but same thing not working. All I can hear is the bleep from clicking the els keys in game.

You have to drag the ELS map into your directory as well

I drag everything like I did in els v6 that's why I said els v6 works but not v7.

I just read it and I don't know how this stuff works. Why can't it just be like els v6 where its a simple drag and drop because my lights won't turn on. The status thing is on, on every car. I am confuse on what to do I am not good at this stuff. I don't get from step 3.

As long as it says

[ POLICE2 ]

File = default_config

and you have the default_config.ini in Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVELS then there is no reason why it shouldn't work. Do you use Simple Native Trainer? If so you will need to disable your keys on it else the ELS buttons will not work. Here's how to do that:

 

1. Open trainer.ini in your GTA directory

2. Search the document (CTRL+F) for KeyBindingsDisabled

3. Change the value after KeyBindingsDisabled from 0 to 1

4. Save and exit

They are more frozen in certain areas on the light bars, also my menu doesn't pop up and I can hear when I hit j,k,I,u, ect.... and no I do not have that simple native trainer. I don't like it. All my files are in the main directory im getting very mad that they aren't working. Can someone help. Thank you.

This is hardly my place to say this (it's more the moderators', and this paragraph is going to toe the line with backseat moderation heavily) however you'd be better off posting a new thread, as it's considered impolite (at least in most of the other communities I've been to) to post an unrelated support request in someone else's thread.
