Howdy

I just bought ARMA 2. great game..

and i saw that there are 1000 of mods

Now i ask you guys

which mods and campaigns do you recommend?

It's been a number of months since I last played however, which game did you purchase? ArmA II or ArmA II: Operation Arrowhead (Standalone Expansion) or ArmA II: Reinforcements (DLC Standalone Pack) or ArmA II: Combined Operations (Original ArmA II with Operation Arrowhead included)?

Different mods work with different game versions.

I'd recommend ACE 2 modification however as stated, it's been quite a few months since my last run of ArmA. I was in a military simulation unit and played ArmA, ArmA II and OA religiously for almost 5 years.

Well, arma II is the most mod friendly. I myself have OA and most of the mods like the vietnam mod require arma II as well.

As Aussiemerc said, the Ace mod is a very good one.

What, ARMA2 is the USMC, ARMA2:OA is the US Army, are you sure you have not got ARMA2:Combined Operations (ARMA2 & OA).

Definatly get ACE 2.

I have the City Life RPG mods, all police cars/civilian cars also. Also drugs objects and such, quite ALOT of work to get it installed though.
