I'm facing another problem. I think all the experienced modelers are able to help and I will appreciate it if you are willing to.

I installed a whelen edge light bar (files include; "edge_1_L0" all the way to "edge_8_L0")

 

I tried to install the whelen talon dash lights (files include; "edge_1_L0" and "edge_4_L0")

When I exported the model, I was told that there were multiple "helper", so I put all the files under one "helper" and deleted the other one.

 

Then, i was told there were multiple "extra_1_L0" and "extra_4_L0" so I renamed the whelen talon's "extra_1_L0" and "extra_4_L0" to "extra_9_L0" and "extra_10_L0" respectively.

 

I managed to export the vehicle, but when I turned on the lightings, only the whelen edge lighted up. The whelen talon did not light up at all.

 

Help!! Can someone tell me how to ensure both light bars light up? I'm using zmodeler v2.2.4, all light bars are by bxbugs123, and its ELS.

Hey , Just correct hierarhy!!

extra_9_L0 should be named like this instead: extra9_L0, and there is no extra 10. It doesn't exist. Use the attach tool to attach the two extra 1's to eachother and the 2 extra 4's to eachother.

also one other question, hwen i import my own model into openiv it says fbi.wft and beside it No() unlike the other ones where it says something. whats the problem?

All of the extras need to be attached together respectively. all the 1's together, 2's together and so on. As for the other issue, is your model actually exporting? Does it have size and can you see it in the model viewer of openiv?
