Different reflections

Featured Replies

Is there a way to get rid of the stronger reflections on some cars?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, take a look at the FIB Buffalo and compare it to the Noose for example. You'll see the FIB has stronger reflections, and it has nothing to do with the graphics mod you are using. Not just the FIB has this "bug" but some other cars too (for example Police Stinger in EFLC).

So is there any way to get rid of this, other then editing the model, you wanna use on these cars?

Here's a picture to show you the problem:

I think its something to do with the paint used on the vehicles in the carcols.dat.

The FIB has some sort of Matte Black paintjob that would produce hardly any reflections

Nope, the fib uses the normal 0 black for color and a grey or white pearl. But this has nothing to do with the carcols, these cars both have the very same chp paintjob on them, and both of them have the same carcols settings. I'm using 0 for pearl there. (so no pearl effect)
