Mysterious Crater in Russia

Recommended Posts

Well, although this is not anything new (it was discovered in 1949), it's pretty cool and I think you should check it out

Like I've said, this strange stone formation composed of calcareous blocks, known as the Patomskiy crater, was discovered back in the late 1940s, in the Irkutsk region, southeastern Siberia. However, it drew the attention of the scientists apparently just a few years ago and an expedition of geologist, geochemical and astronomers was sent to the area to examine the crater.

Many hypothesis had been made about its origin or nature; from volcanic origin to a most plausible fallen meteor or fragment of it (Tunguska meteorite hit the ground at 700 km of distance from the crater) However, the area is not volcanic and there haven't been found rock fragments came from the space. Besides, it's believed that this crater has about 250 years, while the Tunguska meteorite fell in 1908. Other hypothesis speak about a subterranean gas or even 'uranium ore' explosion (is the uranium explosive?...), but there hasn't been found radiation.

In addition, seems that about at 100 to 150 meters under the cone there's located something strange with elevated levels of ferromagnetical materials and a high amount of water. As it was expected, some people are already claiming it be an UFO...

I've been looking for info in various sites and one thing is certain, scientifics haven't find out yet what that thing is yet. What do you think it could be?

Nothing alarming. It was a natural phenomenon, as I strongly reject the idea of it being an ET spacecraft. Had it been something like that, the Soviet Military would have been swift in response. World governments are rather possessive when it comes to ET, US govt. (along with USAF), in particular, being the most sensitive of all.

Well, personally I don't believe in the extraterrestrial spaceships (even if the space is incredibly huge and are millions of planets...), but is curious how nobody knows the actual explanation for that phenomenon. I'd say that some kind of underground explosion could be feasible.

Although, its a totally different topic, I would like to state that I'm 100% confident of ET and their existence on this planet (even the USAF had around 2-3 different wings to investigate the UFO sightings throughout the state of USA and a part of Mexico as well as Iran in early 1970s). This panel (which was called formerly called Project Sign in 1947 only to be dissolved later due to its members rather than debunking UFO stories, were accepting some of them as facts) was followed by another reformed one called Project Bluebook which later mate the same fate due to its lead having growing frustrations with the USAF and rest of the panel's members disagreeing on many conclusions deduced by him. So, in nutshell, the USAF, despite allegedly tampering with most of the evidences to debunk UFO sightings and intimidating some of the witnesses, has admitted to some of the cases being inexplicable, the most notable of them being most unidentified flying objects attracted to AFB's nuclear and advanced weapon storages.

You will be overwhelmed by the fact they keep from spreading; just a simple search term on wikipedia reveals it all. The information is publicly available out there, its just that people aren't aware.

Ontopic, I believe it was a meteor which is expected to revisit by 2045.

Of course they have explanation, they are weather balloons!

Just kidding:P anyway, it's true there have been thousands of sightings and reports of UFOs, but apparently, they began in 1947 and therefore the first investigation projects of the US Government (I read a while back a 1970s UFO book I found in my grandmothers house, so excuse if I'm wrong but I don't remember every detail). Think about the fact that, after the WWII there had been a lot of technologic developments, like the reaction engines that soon lead to the construction of the first spy aircrafts. Crashes like the Roswell one are more likely to be from spy plane and prototype than alien spacecrafts. Even they painted the airplanes so they seemed UFOs in order to confuse the population (they initially did that with the U2 spy planes, later was changed to black, I believe because they were more easier to detect in the other way).

Think about it, what is better the public to think, that you have an alien spacecraft or a secret furtive bomber with the latest technologies?

Today I just saw this:

easy to think is something from another planet, uh? It's actually a new drone, the xb47. Same could go to planes like the Blackbird (1960s) or B2 and F117, both developed in the late 1970s/ early 1980s.

Though, by other hand, I have to agree that there are other cases that I can't explain, like that one in Phoenix 1997.

@strike: I won't say much, since I have too much to say but I don't see the need of it to be said here, so I'll just post a link to one of the incidents which would explain what I know and want to say:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976_Tehran_UFO_incident

TLDR; Now, this is just one example closely monitored and witnessed by reliable and sane military personnel themselves. Time and again, it has been proved that whatever they try to tag as unidentified flying objects and pursue, maneuvers and accelerates defying all physics laws and sometimes jamming not even electrical but also mechanical systems within the pursuer jets, a technology which is so sophisticatedly advanced that it cannot belong to this planet. Neither any country has ever been capable of producing such things, nor will they be able to do the same in distant future. There are other strikingly unique characteristics (which you will find out when you read the link) that even I can't imagine are possible in nature. I have devoted thousands of hours researching on these incidents. And thus, I have many incidents in memory which, more or less, lead to the same conclusion- they are there. Even outer space expeditions have reported sightings of these unusually "glowing" and intelligently maneuvering and accelerating fleet of objects in earth's outer atmosphere at least 4 times, only to be dismissed by NASA which is nothing surprising.

You're right, it's a totally different topic. Please stick to the original one. Thanks.

On-topic: Strike, the image in your first post is broken for me.

Yeah, the picture isn't showing up on the post, but right click then click "Copy Image URL" and paste it in the URL bar thing.

I don't think it's extraterrestrial. Some sort of natural thing. Nature's crazy.
